Overview of the Program

Create To Be Free was designed and created by Theresa Dedmon in 2016 to help people process pain, trauma, and past hurts. This unique program is based on testimonies of people who share breakthroughs, Biblical truth with encounters with God, discovering truth in our own stories, simple prompts through art to process feelings, and then small group discussion at the end of each session.

In 2018, I wrote and filmed my Create to Be Free ECourse, which has six lessons, which deal with the major issues most people face when they are dealing with unresolved pain in their lives. Here are the 6 lessons within this course you will receive:

  • Identity

  • Forgiveness

  • Letting Go

  • Abandonment

  • Being a Victim

  • Fear of the Future

Create To Be Free Program Includes 8 sessions for Create To Be Free for kids!

We now have a Kingdom and Christian Create To Be Free 8 module course based upon the Lion King that you can now teach along with the Create To Be Free program!

Requirements for Certification under Theresa Dedmon Ministries

  • Current Create Academy Member

  • Submit Application to become certified and we will notify you of your acceptance.

  • Completion of Create To Be Free Course on Create Academy

  • Completion of Create To Be Specialized Training for Certification (once you are accepted you will have access to all the videos below to watch)

    • Review and Watch Designated Videos Below, following the notes and

      answering the questions. Here are the videos that you will watch

      • How to take people on encounters with God and lead a session

      • Developing Strategies for teaching your specific audience

      • Small Group Training for Create to be Free Sessions

      • Interview with Counselor on the healing process of Create To Be Free

      • Next steps for those who have attended Create to be Free

    • Attend 1 hour online training after completion of watching the videos

      with Theresa and team (TBD)

  • Ongoing Coaching and Support

    • Monthly Coaching with Theresa and Team

    • We have a monthly time where we meet together to support your

      journey after you are certified.

  • Initial Fee $500

    • Fee includes training, oversight, support, use of Create to be Free, and training

      resources. This does not include the monthly subscription fee for Create Academy.

  • Yearly Renewal fee $250

  • Teaching Create To Be Free

    • If you are involved in teaching this course in a church setting, we ask that each person purchase the Create To Be Free E Course through theresadedmon.com As a teacher, your students will receive half off the regular price of the E Course. Contact TDM support for discount code at support@theresadedmon.com The other option is to have attendees with you join the monthly subscription for Create Academy and get all of Theresa’s content, facebook group, and teachings FREE with signing up for the monthly subscription. If you are teaching a group of people who are marginalized or are not in a position to pay because they are in a group facility or are in a crisis, you have permission from Theresa Dedmon ministries to teach without them having to pay for the Ecourse. This means they do not have access to the course except through your own instruction, following the courses objective and materials and the guidelines included in the teacher’s program.

We ask that you make copies and have the people you are leading fill out the waiver form which protects you as a facilitator and Create Academy in leading Create To Be Free sessions so you are not liable in case anything happens to one of the people in your groups.

*Keep a record of all of these documents that they have signed with their signature and date, so that you are protected and are safe. Remember, if you or any of your small group leaders hear about a person who is suicidal and has the intent to harm themselves or someone else, you have to report this to the authorities (see guidelines for your city, state, or nation)

How To Get Started

  • Join Create Academy’s monthly subscription (www.theresadedmon.com)

  • Finish the Create To Be Free course (free for members of Create Academy)

  • Fill out this application to begin the process for certification and review all documents that need to be signed and dated.

  • Once your application is accepted and your payment—either monthly or annual fee—is received, you will gain access to the videos and reading materials for each module in the Create to be Free Certification Program. This ensures that all participants are fully committed and prepared to engage with the course content effectively.

  • Once you have completed all the modules for certification, your final step is to meet with Theresa and her team. Dates will be provided in your email communication. This meeting is essential before you begin teaching the Create to be Free curriculum.
