Every youth has a destiny and a purpose in life and we want to help inspire you to change the world. It’s time for the young “Davids” and “Esthers” to be mentored into their call.

Who’s This For?

We believe that God is raising up a creative global community of adults and teens, so we are offering our online Create Academy level 1 (Identity Track) to now be available for teens with adult oversight, who will be facilitating the small groups. These leaders have a heart for youth and are trained in Create Academy Leadership with Theresa Dedmon.

We welcome who you are, what you love to create, your dreams, and your journey in your walk with God.

Create Academy TEEN Live is a great creative home school or “after-school” extra-curricular option for teens which provides certificates for those that successfully complete classes -as well as the entire Create Academy Level 1 curriculum.

Benefits To Join Teen CA Live

As a teen, you’ll get all of the value that every Create Academy adult student has. As part of the monthly subscription, you get unlimited access to all of the courses and the private Create Academy Facebook group.

Join our monthly creative meetings, which we offer in art, dance, music, and writing. I want to encourage you to help your teen grow in their identity by getting involved in the opportunities available in Create Academy.

Here is an example: Sally TEEN 15, which would stand for Sally’s name, that she is a teen, and that she is 15 years old. Then you are set! Put in your email or their email for us to know which email we can correspond with weekly with the zoom link and the handout.

FAQs

Who is teen ca live for?

We offer this program specifically geared towards teens between the ages of 13-17. This is for the ones who want to pioneer in the world through their creativity, be inspired, the young “Esthers” and “Davids” to be mentored in their calling and identity.

how do I sign my teen up?

To join Create Academy register here. After that, you can sign up your teen under CA Live and put in the first name and then add in the word TEEN with their age after that.

what are the Times to join?

Options: We offer two times on Thursdays either 9 AM PST or 6 PM PST, which are one hour in length for teens this year.

what is the Format of the Program?

  1. Weekly Homework: There will be a course assignment due before each Thursday that each teen will finish (see CA Live Calendar for Course Work Assignments). These assignments can take up to 30-60 minutes or more to complete.

  2. Weekly Thursday Format: Each teen will join with Theresa, other adults, and teens on zoom who are sharing about the assignment that they’ve completed and what they’ve learned. Theresa will guide the discussion where there will be time for chat questions, interactions, and testimonies. These sessions are 30 minutes in length. Then, each teen will be put in the same breakout room with other teens and one to two adult leaders to share more personally about how they are doing, what they are creating, and what they got out of that assignment. These sessions are 30 minutes in length. Teens are encouraged to share, but are not pressured to speak, as we want to respect each teen’s journey and process. There will be specific questions for the teens to share about when they break into groups that will be geared for teens and what they may be facing in their lives.

  3. Small Group Support: The teens will be able to get each other’s contact and the leader’s contact so they can chat and socialize throughout the week, so that they engaging in a positive atmosphere with other teens who are on the same journey as they are in understanding their creative identity.

  4. In-Person Group: If you live in Castle Rock, Colorado, we are offering an in person Create Academy Teen Live program during the PM slot (email Sharon Neve for more details: sharon@riveroflifemedia.org).

what about Holidays/Vacation Time/Calendar?

It We will follow the school year with the first Teen Live class starting September 19th and ending at the end of May 2025 with breaks for Thanksgiving, Christmas vacation, and sick days if needed. gYou will receive a Create Academy Calendar once your teen is enrolled in CA Teen Live..

Do you offer any Payment Plans?

In order to join the program, each teen will need to pay only $10 per month to be part of the program. If you go to Theresadedmon.com and scroll to Create Academy, you can enroll your teen and start the process, just use the code: Teen10 and then you will automatically start the monthly payment plan for Teen Live.
