RECEIVE A MOTHER’S BLESSING

I wanted to take a moment and speak a word to bless every woman who reads this with the spiritual inheritance I've received.

First of all, you need to know about my generational inheritance, which is part of the legacy that I can impart to you now. My Mother was a creative pioneer, who was an artist, musician, playwright, sewed, and you guessed it- was a Renaissance woman.

One of the most profound gifts that my mother gave me was a heart for the lost. After I was married and had just left for Bible College in Southern California, my family and friends put on a passion play at the maximum security prison in Carson City, Nevada.

At the end of the play, two prisoners put a knife to my 16-year-old sister’s throat and took her hostage, trying to leave the prison. My Mother refused to leave and finally convinced the two prisoners to put down their knife from my sister’s throat.

As the National Guard was called to come and tear gas the room. My Mother picked up the guitar and started to sing about the love of Jesus. She then shared about who Jesus was and prophesied over them. After that, she proceeded to lead them to the Lord. She also convinced them to give up and that she would help them find their path.

So, they both surrendered. On the front page of the LA Times was a picture with the caption “Resurrection Story” on Easter Sunday. Boy was I shocked- but not really- that’s just what happened with my family!

Be Empowered as a Woman​

It’s time for women to arise and beat down the enemy who has held them at knifepoint, trying to take them as prisoners. It’s time for women who have dealt with self-hatred, and feeling unloved by men or earthly fathers, to be comforted. It’s time for women to arise and shine for Jesus as their light has come!​

So, if Mother’s Day seems hard for you because you’re not close to your Mom, you feel that your Mother has not “seen/ validated" you, or if you have lost her and she has passed away, know that God “sees” you and that you can be the amazing woman God has destined you to BE!

I bless you with the joy of knowing that you are one of a kind.

You are free to explore who God has made you to be in wonder, never doubting that every inch of you is blessed with the Father’s kisses from head to foot!

It’s time to hear a blessing if you haven’t yet.
